  • Jane's Favourite Colour was orange.
  • Jane's pet Pig was named Lady Ambrosia
  • 'Pride and Prejudice' was translated into 35 different languages
  • Jane died befroe completing her last book
  • William Cowper was one of Jane's Favourite Poets
  • Virginia Woolf called Jane "The most perfect artist among women"
  • Finally in the 1940's Jane was recognised a great english novelist.
  • In 1805 Jane, her sister and her mother moved to Chawton.
  • Jane described 'Pride and Prejudice' as "her own darling child.
  • Jane's dad - George - died in 1805
